A HORROR FILM REIMAGINED

The Wasp Woman is a reimagining of the 1959 B-movie classic, merging 3D scanning, digital sculpting, and concept art to craft a contemporary horror narrative. This project examines ageism, sexism, and the representation of female monsters in media.

As Janice’s transformation into a parasitic wasp becomes irreversible, her identity begins to dissolve. Humanity gives way to instinct, survival, reproduction, and an unsettling new form of self. The Wasp Woman probes the fear of losing one’s humanity and the monstrous expectations imposed on women’s bodies.
